SeaFever

We left from Schooner Cove. I can't tell you exactly but its a good run outs . I don't want to jeopardize future outings. The plugs looked like Tomic plugs. They were pink with a glossy or translucent finish. We were from 70 feet to 150 feet. Trolling them on their own with no flasher. I concentrated on testing the CJ so I am not to familiar to the plugs but if you need more detail ask Robert from PNT. He was captain.

Greetings to Everyone.
I live in Vladivostok City, Russian Federation.
We use sea trolling to catch local salmon type of fish, we call it Sima, it is close to sockeye salmon fish.
I have a friend who lives in Canada and he sent me several CJ spoons.
So, I had a good result a year ago, you see it on a picture. I will continue to use CJ's on trolling.
If I am not mistaken, the trolling speed when using CJ's spoons is about 2.5-3 knots.
What speed do you have when trolling?
Thanks.
Regards.

Welcome coralsea

Very surprise to see this post as I started it in 2012. The CJ lures is a fantastic lure. As all angler know there is no perfect choice. As seasons , years come and go so do the salmon preferences. Every angler will have their own favourite. I am glad they are working for you. Keep the posts coming.

Your speed is great 1.5 to 3 MPH . You must take into account though the speed of the currents. If your going with them it will have to be faster and going against them you have to adjust. I like it when I can see a 45 degree angle off the trolling line regardless of the speed.....old school

For every 1 MPH= .867986 knots. Pretty close. If your fishing line going in the water on the down rigger is at 45 degrees you are going at the correct speed based on your currents.

Does anyone know a fishing tackle store, which can ship them Internationally?

I wrote an e-mail on website but had no reply.

Pacific Net and Twine helped CJ put his lures on the market. Contact them and ask for Robert. Not sure if they mail over seas but if your paying the shipping I don't see why not..

Hi Coralsea
The ones Pacific Net Twine carry are the ones on the market. All the rest you see me use and other tester are prototypes .
