Wow its cold and low on the Cowichan. I've fished the Cowichan 4 times since Xmas with just one small steelie to show for it.

I've hit a few marked up Coho. Wondering if there might be some nets in the low river.

Super slow from what I heard too. We drifted last Weekend and got skunked too. It's been a slow start to the year so far. Need some rain.

Same here.. Low and slow. Heard some reports of fish being caught and also heard rumours of nets.

Definitely low and clear, and also very cold. That being said, low and clear has always been my preferred time to hit the river.

Kitty and I hit it once for the first time of the New year mid last week. Two steelhead swinging spoons. One around 8 and the other around 14 pounds.
