Its that time of year. Who is fishing pinks in the Campbell river and how are you doing.
I plan to go up next week and play some catch and release with a bunch of handle bars that I've tied up.

I heard there are some fish in the river but it's just starting. Will be heading up there next weekend as well. See you up there.

Make the annual trip up to the Campbell. Fishing is spotty at best. Some good days but some tough days. The fish seemed to move in pockets. If you happen to find them, you can have a really good day but the same spot was not producing the next day. The fish seemed to hold in sandy pool, confluence and a few other pools. Even upper island pool was not holding them like other years. Some really good size pink this year. Hooked a few in the 4-5 lb range and they seemed to fight exceptionally well this year. Everything was a tad late so hopefully they continue to show up.
