It is great to see the fishing this good this early. We have been out most days with great success. Hearing most boat also limiting out with in a few hours. We having fished off the Grande from Entrance Island to Thrasher, in 400' to 1000' and have beed getting multiple double headers. Most of the fish are between 8 to 16# with some into the 20s. We had a few line screamer, broken leaders and spit hooks. The hot spooners are the Evil eye and Pink sink and of course anchovies in green glow heads. We started with 3.5'' spoons and moved to 5'' and got in to larger fish. There are loads of just undies, which if they stay eating the good amount of bait in the area, there is going to be some nice size fish in a few months. We were lucky and the herring fleet stayed out of the area and it really show. The bellies are full of 6 to 8'' herring.

It looking like its starting to be a beautiful thing. Get out.... get fish....have fun.
